Credit Intermediaries

A credit intermediary, also known as a credit broker, is a company that can introduce you to potential lenders like humm by finding out if you are eligible for finance, and by collecting your information for an application.

Credit intermediaries are authorised and regulated in the UK by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA). This might be because they are directly authorised with the FCA, or they may be an Appointed Representative of another FCA authorised firm. You can search the Financial Services Register to check their status on the FCA’s website.

If your application is successful, and you sign a credit agreement with humm, we will pay a fee to the credit intermediary that introduced you to us. If you would like to know more, please contact humm or the intermediary who introduced you to us, before entering into an agreement.

Other companies humm works with (such as our retail partners) not listed here may introduce you to humm, but we do not pay those partners for making an introduction. Instead, humm may receive a fee from these companies for providing you with finance. If you would like to know more, please contact humm or company who introduced you to us, before entering into an agreement.
